Returns and cancellations
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind about anything you bought from us online. Return postage is yours to pay unless the item is faulty or not what you ordered, in which case it is ours.

Changing your mind
Tell us within 14 days of the delivery date and you can send the item back for a refund. You do not need a reason. Email contact@aftrak.com with your order number and say what you are returning; we will confirm the address to send it to before you post anything.
You then have another 14 days from that message to get the goods back to us. We refund the price you paid within 14 days of them arriving, to the card or account you paid with.
We also refund the standard delivery charge you originally paid. If you chose a faster or more expensive delivery than our standard option, we refund the standard rate rather than what you actually spent on it.
Who pays to send it back
You do, when you are simply changing your mind. Some of this equipment is heavy — a flail mower or a trailer is not a parcel — so get a quote from your carrier before you decide, and tell us if you would rather we arranged collection and deducted the cost from the refund. We are happy to do that and we will tell you the figure first.
If the item is faulty, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered, none of that applies: we pay the return carriage and you are not out of pocket.
Getting it back to us in one piece
- Tell us first. Email contact@aftrak.com before you send anything, so we can confirm where it should go and watch for it arriving.
- Keep it as you found it. You are welcome to inspect and handle an item the way you would in a shop. If it has been used beyond that and comes back worth less as a result, we may reduce the refund to reflect it.
- Send everything that came with it. Fixings, guards, PTO couplings, manuals and any packaging that protects it in transit.
- Pack it for the road. Use the original crate or box where you still have it. Damage caused in transit back to us is not something we can refund.
- Get proof of postage. Until it reaches us it is still your responsibility, so use a tracked or insured service for anything of real value.
If something is faulty
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 sit alongside everything above and are not limited by it. Goods have to be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If something arrives faulty or fails when it should not have, tell us and we will put it right — repair, replacement or refund — and we will cover the cost of getting it back to us.
Tell us about transit damage within a few days of delivery if you can, while the carrier's own claim window is still open. It is not a condition of anything; it just makes the whole thing quicker.
What we cannot take back
Goods made or modified to your own specification, and anything that has been fitted, modified or worked with beyond checking that it is what you ordered. Neither exclusion applies to a faulty item.
Buying as a business
Our catalogue prices are shown without VAT because most of our customers are businesses, for whom that is the meaningful figure. VAT is added at checkout.
The statutory 14-day cancellation right is a consumer right, but we apply the same 14-day window to business customers as a matter of policy, on the same terms set out above.
