Aftrak AFT-e1

Walk-behind micro electric tractor with a PTO and an ePTO, three forward and two reverse gears, and a hot-swappable 5.2 kWh battery.

The AFT-e1 is a tractor first: 8 kW through the PTO, driving whichever tool the job needs. What it can do in the ground is decided by the attachment, not the machine.

Three forward and two reverse gears, a settable throttle and variable power control let the operator match travel speed to conditions. Differential locking holds traction in mud. The handlebars rotate so tooling can run in front or behind, and it turns on the spot. Unloaded weight is 150 kg, so one person can manoeuvre it in a plot too small for a compact tractor.

The 5.2 kWh LiFePO₄ pack recharges in an hour at 1 C and swaps out in under a minute — quicker than filling a tank. How long one charge lasts depends entirely on what is on the back, so the figures are set out tool by tool below rather than averaged into one. An Anderson connector on the electric PTO runs pumps and threshers off the same battery.

All the technology →
Technology

Hot-swap battery

  • Changed by the operator in under a minute, safely, even under load
  • 5.2 kWh LiFePO₄ at 52 V, 105 Ah, 64 kg, with lifting handles
  • One hour to recharge at 1 C, from mains or a solar module
  • A charge figure on the display that stays honest while working
